Phonak CROS Lumity is a dedicated solution for unilateral hearing loss (UHL) or single-sided deafness.

Highlights:

The Phonak CROS L offers:

  • CROS solution for those with unaidable hearing loss in one ear and normal hearing in the other ear, and
  • BiCROS solution for those for those with unaidable hearing loss in one ear and aidable hearing loss in the other ear.

The CROS/BiCROS set-up consists of two parts:

  1. The CROS L is worn on the unaidable ear to pick up sounds and wirelessly transmits them to a compatible Phonak hearing aid.
  2. The compatible hearing aid such as Audeo L and Naida L that receives the sounds from the unaidable ear and plays it the better hearing ear.

The CROS L has no acoustical output therefore it cannot be used alone or by itself. It is meant to be used with a compatible hearing aid on the other side.
